About Agile Guidelines

Agileguidelines.org is a community for like-minded individuals in the healthcare guideline development space. It is managed by me, Jonathan Heald.

Agile Guidelines was launched in mid-2022 with the goal of exploring organizational management theories, frameworks and practices that have been transformative in the management of software development, and sharing my interpretations for their potential use in managing healthcare guideline development programs.

The blog will explore ideas such as Lean, Theory of Constraints, Flow, Toyota Production Systems, Continuous Improvement, DevOps, and Agile 2. We will be exploring ideas on leadership theories and behaviors, cultural and behavioral practices, development workflow and technical practices, and how to lead guideline development programs through an “agile transformation”.

The blog will reflect a “learning journey” as we explore these ideas, refine them with our teams, and share the concepts and practices with the Agile Guidelines community.

Consider it a public journal and "lab book".
